Indian Female Contingent Won Medals

In the 2019 World Skills International Competition, in Kazan,Russia,the 48-member Indian team won 19 medals,it is the best in history, and the female contingent in the country won awards and medals in various fields. Especially in the field of track and field. Whether it is PV Sindhu, Manasi Joshi, Manu Baker, Hima Das, Bhavna Tokekar,there is a long list.


Another woman, also earning honor for the country,even though she is on a different global stage.

Shweta Ratanpura won the bronze medal in the graphic design category and became the first female candidate in India to win a medal in the World Skills Competition.

In addition, S Aswatha Narayana from Odisha won the gold medal in water technology, and Pranav Nutalapati from Karnataka won the silver medal in network technology, while from West Bengal. Sanjoy Pramanik won the bronze medal in jewellery, and Shweta Ratanpura from Maharashtra also won the bronze medal in graphic design.

 

"With this historic victory, the Indian team won the heart and set a new level of skill on the world stage. India ranked 13th in the overall ranking, won 11 medals in 2017 and won in Abu Dhabi Compared with the 19th place, the ranking has increased by a few."
