US Secret Service personnel and their families are distributing special challenge coins.

But recently it has become more popular with civilian agencies.

The Secret Service Challenge Coin is a special challenge coin that the US Secret Service staff and their families are distributing. They expressed frustration and protest against the request for unpaid work during some government closures.

Design: "Don't worry, you will get back", engraved on one side of the coin. On the other side are engraved "American Secret Service" and "Essential Personnel."


The Secret Service has offices around the world. In addition to investigating the core mission of financial crime, it is not only responsible for protecting the President of the United States and his family, but also for protecting embassies and foreign dignitaries within the United States.

The Secret Service belongs to the Department of Homeland Security and has 7,222 employees. According to the US Department of Homeland Security's shutdown plan, nearly 6,000 of them are working unpaid, and more than 1,200 have been fired because they are not considered essential.
